Style 693 is a braided packing made of carbonized fibers concentrically braided around a cross - braided core. Different to many other synthetic fibers, of more than 250°C they have a high elasticity. These facilitate the running-in procedure still offering a reservoir for later retightening. During braiding process, the core is impregnated with a compound of lubricants and graphite.
TYPE
Type 708 consists of a twisted ceramic fiber core, over braided by high quality ceramic fibers without any impregnation. The material is free of any combustible components and thus it is non flammable.
Type 700I is same as type 700 , But each yam is reinforced by a very thin Inconel wire. Due to a very slight impregnation of the packing with a thin film of a high temperature oil the glass fiber will not cause any irritation of the human skin.
Type 7081 is same as type 708 , but each yam is reinforced by a very thin Inconel wire .
Type 709 consists of a twisted silica fibers core over braided by high quality silica fibers without and impregnation The material is free of any combustible components and thus it is non flammable
